Professor Francis Blesa (Founder and owner of El Apostol Jiu-Jitsu and MMA Academy in Mexico) holds a Black belt 3rd degree in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ), 

Professor Francis Blesa is a passionate professional with a distinguished background in the field of security, boasting over 30 years of experience.

Recognized as an expert in governmental and private industry sectors, his reputation in Security, Intelligence, and Training is well-established, making him a reference in his field. His professional versatility is evident in his impact across more than 20 countries as an International Firearms Instructor in Techniques and Tactics, he has shared his extensive knowledge to military personnel, police officers, bodyguards, and tactical teams worldwide.

His combat experience extends beyond the classroom, with over 40 years dedicated to various martial arts disciplines, where he has won multiple national and international championships.

His first encounter with Brazilian Jiu-jitsu was in 1986 at the age of 10, practicing it intermittently until 1992 when it became a part of his daily life. Over the years, his work commitments took him to different countries, where he sought out academies to continue spreading the Gentle Art. 

He competed and taught in countries such as Brazil, Argentina, Bolivia, Uruguay, Costa Rica, Peru, Chile, Colombia, Spain, Italy, Panama, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Venezuela, United States, Virgin Islands, South Korea, Japan, Macau, Philippines, Vietnam, Taiwan, China, and Mexico. Throughout his journey, he has shared mat with Brazilian Jiu-jitsu legends like Rickson Gracie, Royce Gracie, Rillion Gracie, Renzo Gracie, Roger Gracie, Carlos Machado, Jean Jacques Machado, John Danaher, Fernando Augusto "Tereré", Kyra Gracie, Roberto Correa "Gordo", Totila Jordan "Pitoco", Daniel Gracie, Braulio Estima, Leandro Lo, Felipe Pena, Marcus Vinicius "Buchecha", Chris Haueter, Jay Pages, Rolles Gracie, Igor Gracie, Bruno Fernandez, Enrique Denegri "Quique", Mario Sperry, Gilbert Burns "Durinho", Davi Ramos, Rodolfo Vieira, Viktor Doria, Guillermo Hardoy, Luciano Correa Issy, Clark Gracie, Pablo Popovitch, Kenny Florian, Ica Medina, Gilbert Melendez "El Niño", Fabricio Medeiros "Bicudo", Jorge Pereira, Mario Delgado, Jorge Braga "Braki", Caín Velazquez, and Chuck Liddell, among others.
